Some of us are dreamers, some of us are realists, but all of us can be surprised at just how unexpected life can be. Join us as we go on a journey of discovery…discovery of who we are, what we need, what we expect and how we make it through life together. We will talk about our need for rescue, our identity and expectations, and our relationships as we journey with the Israelites from captivity to their new life - a Life Unexpected. All women are welcome to attend.
We will be staying at the beautiful Camp Buckner in Burnet again this year. The weekend will be not only spiritually reviving but also a time of fun. Ladies will have opportunities to relax, fellowship, and of course worship.
GUEST SPEAKER | KIM GARDINER
Kim is a stay at home mom of two sweet girls, Hailey (7) and Emma (5). She has been married to the love of her life, Eric, for over 13 years. Kim has a passion to see women engage in living for the Kingdom as daughters of the King.
She serves in the Women’s Ministry at Hill Country Bible Church Austin in leadership development and teaching. She also loves discipling younger women, reading, crafting and a good nap. She is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute with a BA in Bible/Theology.
Her girls love to proclaim themselves to be Princesses of Anything and Everything, so Kim has declared herself to be the Queen of a few things as well, including laundry.
WORSHIP | TAYLOR STEARNS
Taylor Stearns is a singer/songwriter based in Austin, Texas. Her style gravitates toward indie-pop, and her sound focuses around blending lush acoustic instrumentation such as guitar, orchestral strings, and piano with a modest proportion of experimental electronic elements. While she collaborates with various local artists in Austin, she has also just released her newestrecord called "Peaks & Arrows." You can find out more about Taylor at taylorstearnsmusic.com.
LOCATION | CAMP BUCKNER
We will be staying at the beautiful Camp Buckner again this year located at 3835 FM 2342 Burnet, TX 78611. Camp Buckner is a retreat facility nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country that offers a lush scenic environment where guests can relax and enjoy comfortable accommodations, good food, and fun activities.
Lodge Rooms | $140 per person (up to 3 people per room)
- Lodge rooms include one double bed and one single bed.
- Pillows, bed linens & towels are included with this room choice.
The Ranch House | $130 per person (17 people per room - bunk style)
- Ranch House rooms include 17 bunk style beds
Check in begins at 6pm on Friday night. Your stay will include four meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning. If you have any special food restrictions/needs, please let us know. Check out will be at noon on Sunday.
