We will be setting aside time during each service on the last Sunday of every month to celebrate baptism with our church body.

WHY WE CELEBRATE BAPTISM:

Matthew 28:19 | Mark 16:16 | Acts 2:38, 10:48, 22:16

Romans 6:3 | Galatians 3:27 | Colossians 2:12

Water baptism is one of the two ordinances the church has instituted, as we see in the Scripture above, by Jesus Christ (the other being communion.) While neither one can save you, we are commanded by the Lord to do both.

Therefore, water baptism is a regular and important part of HBC where the body of believers is afforded the opportunity to be obedient to the Lord by following Him in baptism.

If you or your child have not taken this step since becoming a follower of Jesus Christ (no matter when this took place) then, we encourage you to walk in obedience to the Lord, by participating in baptism. Please take a look at our baptism policy here.
