TWO14 Student Ministry - What We're About

TWO14 Hutto Student Ministry exists so that the teenagers of Hutto will grow to be who God wants them to be. We strive to create irresistible environments where students challenged to know Jesus, to love Jesus, to live for Jesus, and to tell others about Jesus.

Our name comes from Habakkuk 2:14 and reflects our desire for God to be glorified in all the Earth.

STUDENT MINISTRY OVERVIEW

Middle School Class

Our weekly middle school gathering (6th-8th grades) meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Every week involves games, teaching, and discussion groups. This is a great place to have fun, hang out, play games, connect with students, and connect with God.

The Exchange (High School)

The Exchange is our weekly group gathering for High School students (9th-12th grades), on Sundays from 7:00-8:45 p.m. at our church building. The Exchange is our environment designed for High School students to help find community, connect with God and others as well as a great place to bring friends.

The Great Adventure

The Great Adventure is a multi-week event where we equip and send students (current 6th-12th graders) to spread the gospel in Hutto. The Great Adventure involves three weeks:
(1) Boot Camp : June 25-29
(2) Backyard Bible Clubs: July 9-13
(3) GO Trips: Early August

D-Groups (High School) & C-Groups (Middle School)

D-Groups (a.k.a Discipleship Groups) and C-Groups (Community Groups) are gender-specific small groups that meet in various homes through our community. Our D- & C-Groups meet during both school year semesters.

ReNew Student Ministry Retreat

Each year we have a Winter Retreat (in January or February) for 6th-12th grade students. These retreats are high energy, tons of fun, and life-changing.

Here is a video from this past January's retreat.

Teaching Ministry

Our student ministry highly values the teaching of God's Word in a way that is clear, creative, and applicable. We also believe there is great value in parents knowing what their teenagers are being taught. For this reason we record almost all of the messages taught at the Exchange.
